SYNOPSIS

In a modest neighborhood of Buenos Aires, Julián spends his days trying to forget Regina, his partner for years, who, seduced by "the lights of downtown" and the promises of a powerful lover, has left in search of fame and fortune.  

Some years later, Regina returns to the neighborhood seeking refuge in Julián's arms, trying to win him back despite the grudge he holds against her. At the same time, Caballito and Emilia, friends of the couple, settle an eternal game of seduction between milongas and hilarious situations.  

After a time of peace and renewed love with Julián, Regina crosses paths with Ricardo, a passion from her past and she cannot resist her. She abandons Julián again to run into his arms. However, when she goes to meet him, Regina realizes that Ricardo played with her and he has disappeared. Alone again, she returns to Julián's house to discover that he, in a fit of rage, has taken his own life. The neighborhood disowns her and Regina mourns her misfortune in the night rain.
