FOREWORD
> Uzziel works alone in a stripped-down space. A ray of light falls significantly on his head. A white rose miraculously emerges from her hands.

Uzziel (voiceover) :
I am a rose maker
none of them is equal to another.
Tell me the name of who you think
and what he has done with you
it will return to him.
Just what you deserve, everyone will receive.

> Uzziel hands the rose to Zádoc and Zádoc rushes to the bridge and hands it to Tally who tries to pay him. Zádoc refuses to receive the money. Tally leaves, looking at the rose.

Uzziel (voiceover) :
I receive nothing for creating
I do not want money
What is necessary, providential
It will come to my house.
A little silence and my faith that will not be broken
And I will receive just what I lack and nothing more.

> Adina, at home, approaches her small garden where the rose bushes are dry. Uzziel looks at her dreamily in the distance.

Uzziel (voiceover) :
But she, in that gift... isn't she?
How many more nights will I dream of her voice?
For her I would make the perfect rose more...
If no one asks me, I can't create it
Well I'm just... a server.

> Judith and Jemima meet in another space.

Jemima: Judith!
Judith: Jemma!
Jemima: Such beautiful traditions should be brought back.

Judith: A family Shabbat dinner...
Jemima: ...meeting both of us.
Judith: Our children have grown up together...
Jemima: So on this Shabbat, let's give it our best.
Both: Will learn true rest.
Jemima: Get the wine...
Judith: ...if you put the bread.

SCENE 1
> Tally walks to Jemima's front yard and sees Deborah walk out of there.

Deborah: Tally!
Tally: Deborah, I already have my rose; soon he will travel beyond the sea, towards that dear aunt who has done so much for me...
Débora: A gift for that aunt you don't know? You barely get their letters!
Tally: But because of them, I know who my parents were, and I know that there is a land far away that looks like the one that was promised to us.
Débora (sighs, distracted): Everyone dreams of a land that is their own; but today I need something else; I have a plan; I am like a bee in spring.

> Zádoc, who is still on the bridge, is surprised by the arrival of his mother Judith, who is looking for him visibly anxious.

Judith: Zadoc!
Zádoc (with some shock): Mother!

Judith: How proud of my son! Zádoc, you don't call yourself what you call yourself for nothing. You deliver the form of fairness in the color and scent of those roses. Where will they travel? It doesn't matter, what matters is what they did to you there. But today you will not deliver anything. Dusk is approaching and Shabbat is about to begin. Come on, I need you to help me. today we will meet
with Jemima's family and we will celebrate according to the traditions; the wine to be blessed has to be on the table. Go find him and come home soon. Your work is done for today.

> Tally and Deborah in the garden of Jemima's house.

Débora: Did you see Zadoc?
Tally: Yes, he gave me the rose.
Débora: And did he tell you something?
Tally: Nothing.
Débora: The poor man is dying for me. He wants me to order a red rose for him. But... first, you should give me proof of your love; And me, I'll have fun, asking him for an impossible mission.
Tally: A prank...?
Débora: ...but necessary!
Tally: You'll find him on the bridge.
Débora: That's where I'm going. (Comes out)
