This show has been the result of a series of workshops carried out by the company . With which, it will be possible to visualize here a relationship between the objectives of the workshops and the final results achieved. Notwithstanding this, it should be noted that this musical has not been a production entirely of Operetas Solo Musicales , but also of Operetas Training .
SYNOPSIS
With a cross between the aesthetics of Tim Burton and German expressionism, this version of GALLITRAP was adapted for a laboratory process in a musical theater workshop, achieving one of the best synthesis between physical and sung language.
Queen Magdalena offers her 9-year-old daughter, Alba, the wood of an old tree that seems dead but in which the Banshee lives, a fairy from northern Europe whose song and presence announces the death of loved ones. As retaliation for being invaded, Banshee decrees that Alba, when she turns 18, will be devoured by the forest and transformed into ivy. Horrified, Magdalena locks Alba up for the next few years, preventing her from making contact with the natural world. However, the Fairies are willing to break this curse and to do so they will bring about the expected meeting between the almost mechanical princess and the fortune-seeking scoundrel who will save her from her perdition.
